Why Join our Farm Share?

• Choose What YOU WANT - The MyFreshChoices option allows to choose exactly what and how much you want each week. 
• Transparency - Our shares start with a beginning balance (see below for share types and options).  Each week shareholders receive receipts - so you know exactly what items you received, the cost (amount deducted from your balance less the 10% discount), and your remaining balance.  

CSA is the abbreviation for Community Supported Agriculture - away of connecting farmers to New Yorkers.  CSAs help to support family farms while providing urban and suburban neighborhoods access to high quality, locally-grown, affordable produce.

Our farm sells shares in our harvest months to individuals, families, or institutions. The share price goes toward the cost of growing the crops during the winter and spring months. It's a WIN for you, the customer, as you get fresh, locally grown items during the winter. It's a WIN for our farm as we can plan and plant exactly what to grow during the expensive heating months.

The Farm Share CSA is a weekly program where shareholders receive fresh produce (and optionally fresh baked goods) each week.   Customers can come pick up their weekly share on Fridays from 5pm to 6pm or Saturdays from 11am to 12pm at the farm market.  If those times don't work or things come up, we are flexible and can provide a custom pick up day and time.

MyFreshChoices

Select exactly what and how much of each item you want each week.  Includes crops such as Apples, Beets, Broccoli, Cabbage, Carrots, Cauliflower, Celery, Cucumbers, Kale, Lettuce (Bibb, Green Leaf, Green Oak Leaf, Red Leaf, Iceberg, and Romaine), Microgreens (various flavors and herbs), Pears, Radishes, Scallions, Strawberries, and Squash (summer and winter), and many more in season items.  

MyFreshChoices & Bakery

This option includes the above plus bakery items from our scratch bakery.  These include breads (slicing white, Italian, and rye), cookies (chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin), and personal size pies (apple, strawberry rhubarb, and summerberry).

Mini Share

Designed for singles, couples, and small households who would like to try a CSA for the first time.  An average of $12.46 worth of fresh fruits and vegetables each week! Usually includes 3 or 4  vegetables and 1 type of fruit. Bakery options include one additional baked goods item.

MyFreshChoices Mini - $99 for 8 weeks

MyFreshChoices & Bakery Mini  - $149 for 8 weeks

Basic Share

Designed for singles, couples, and small households.  An average of $12.46 worth of fresh fruits and vegetables each week! Usually includes 3 or 4  vegetables and 1 type of fruit. Bakery options include one additional baked goods item.

MyFreshChoices Basic - $299 for 24 weeks

MyFreshChoices & Bakery Basic  - $449 for 24 weeks

Medium Share

Designed for small to medium sized families and small restaurants.  An average of $22.88 worth of fresh fruits and vegetables each week!  Usually 4 or 5 vegetables and  1or 2 types of fruit. Bakery options include one additional baked goods item.

MyFreshChoices Medium - $549 for 24 weeks

MyFreshChoices & Bakery Medium- $699 for 24 weeks

Large Share

Designed for larger families and larger restaurants.  An average of $33.29 worth of fresh fruits and vegetables each week!  Usually includes 8 or 9 vegetables and 2 or 3 types of fruit. Bakery options include one additional baked goods item.

Payment is by cash, check or Credit Card.  Sign up is simple and available online from the link below.

After you sign up, you will be emailed a link to print out your CSA Shareholder card. Bring this card with you each time you come to pick up your items.
